Still want to sit in it before you buy? Here are a few tips for testing comfort. First, compare our inside & outside seat dimensions to pieces that you are already find comfortable. The seat height & seat depth are the most important factors to consider in assess ing how well a chair or sofa will fit you.
Also consider the seat & back cushions. Cushions that are "loose" are removable. Not only do they offer the opportunity to flip for even wear, they tend to be a softer seat. "Semi-attached" cushions are commonly used as back cushions. They offer the advantage of staying securely in place while still providing a soft feel. "Tight" seats & backs sit more firmly & appeal to those who want a little less sinking into their furniture.

The pattern of a fabric flows uninterrupted throughout an entire piece of furniture: from one end to the other; from the arm panels down to the skirt; and through the welt lines. A perfect match. The plaid converges, both vertically and horizontally, at the seat cushion, seat, front of the arm, and the outside arm. We build each piece with the cushions in place to ensure a proper fit every time. If you buy a pair of chairs, sofas, or matching suited of furniture, the arms will be evenly proportioned and will match each other.
A solid webbed base with reinforcing steel bands builds a stable foundation for the springs. The number, height and strength ("guage") of the coils are custom-designed for each piece of furniture to maximize comfort. Each spring is eight-way hand tied with secure knots. Side-to-side shifting under weight is eliminated. The perimeter of the springs is reinforced with a strong steel wire to provide edge to edge comfort and stability. Without attention to construction, you can be assured that the beauty of your upholstered furniture is always more than skin deep.
Structural integrity is assured with corner blocks screwed to the solid maple frames. Double doweling at critical joints means a long-lasting bond. Back rails are reinforced by uprights to provide the utmost stability. Each leg is an integral part of the frame, not screwed onto it, providing the greatest strength and durability.
